Vineyard and harvest
Grapes from our own vineyards, picked at their optimum point of ripeness.
Not grape juice. Not a soft drink. This is real wine, made and matured exactly as always, with the alcohol gently removed afterwards to preserve its aroma, its colour and its character. All the ritual of wine, without a drop of alcohol.
Three answers in one place, without scrolling half a page: what it actually is, how it is made and how it differs from what you already know.
Bodega Los Corzos alcohol-free wine starts from a finished wine: the same grapes, the same harvest and the same winemaking as the rest of our wines.
The last step is what makes the difference. The alcohol is drawn out of the finished wine by gentle, non-aggressive methods until it reaches 0.0% ABV. The result keeps the organoleptic properties and the essential character of the wine it comes from: its colour, its aromas and much of its structure on the palate.
Removing the alcohol is easy; removing it without taking the aromas with it is the hard part. That is why we work with gentle processes at low temperature.
Grapes from our own vineyards, picked at their optimum point of ripeness.
A complete, conventional wine is made. Fermentation runs its full course: the colour, the tannins and the aromas are already there.
The alcohol is extracted by non-aggressive methods, with careful temperature control so the wine’s aromatic compounds are not damaged.
The aromas are captured and returned to the wine, the balance is adjusted and it is packed in 5 L Bag in Box or 75 cl bottles.
This is the most common question. The difference lies in the starting point: one comes from wine, the others never were wine.

View productOne piece of advice changes the whole experience: alcohol-free wine is best enjoyed colder than its alcoholic counterpart. The chill lifts the fruit and balances the flavour.
Keep the Bag in Box or the bottles somewhere dry and dark, away from sudden changes in temperature.
Keep it refrigerated and drink it within 4 days to enjoy it at its best.
Serve it in a wine glass, not a tumbler: the glass concentrates the aromas and changes the perception entirely.
The tap keeps air out, so you can pour a glass today and another one a few days later.
With no alcohol there is nothing to gain from aeration: serve it straight from the fridge and enjoy it right away.
Extreme cold mutes the aromas and can alter the texture. Two or three hours in the fridge is enough.
Our wine is de-alcoholised down to 0.0% ABV. Under European regulations a drink may be labelled “de-alcoholised” when its alcoholic strength does not exceed 0.5% ABV; ours sits at 0.0.
It comes very close, though it is not identical: alcohol brings body and volume to the palate, so a 0.0 wine feels lighter. In exchange it keeps the colour, the fruit and much of the aroma of the original wine. Served well chilled, the difference is far less noticeable.
No. Grape must is grape juice that has never fermented, which is why it is sweet. Our 0.0 wine starts from a fully made and fermented wine and the alcohol is removed afterwards: that is why it is dry and tastes of wine.
It is one of the reasons this product exists, since it contains no alcohol. Even so, every pregnancy is different: we always recommend checking with your midwife or doctor.
Alcohol is the most calorific component of wine (7 kcal per gram), so taking it out brings the calorie content down considerably. You will find the exact nutritional values on the label of each format.
Yes. As it comes from real wine, it keeps the polyphenols, antioxidants and resveratrol of the grape, compounds that do not depend on alcohol.
We recommend keeping it refrigerated and drinking it within 4 days of opening. Unopened, store it somewhere dry and dark.
